Four members of Kenilworth Runners travelled to Grove a village in Oxfordshire to take part in the scenic if flat(ish) 13.1 mile course.
Going through many local villages the course lends itself to fast running and John McNally and Nick Bradbury both had magnificent runs
Nick Bradbury finishing in 43rd position out of 381 finishers in the time of 1 hour 28 minutes and 49 seconds
John just a little ahead of him.
Pauline and Kristy Dable also ran in the race but their times are not available.

Presentation Evening
Members of Kenilworth Runners meet at the Wardens last Friday to enjoy an evening of good food and fun together with a quiz. During the evening prizes were awarded to winners of the 2004 Summer and 2005 Winter Handicap Leagues as well as for the best cross country runner and member of the year, awards that are voted by the members in a ballot.

Earlier this year Pauline Dable won the Gloucestershire Cross Country First prize for veteran ladies and Mick Morris won the over 70 men's award in the same competition.

- Stratford Half Marathon
On Sunday 8 members of Kenilworth Runners, 4 ladies and 4 men took part in the annual Stratford half marathon. On a pleasant but cool afternoon the 8 runners performed exceptionally well on a rural but far from easy course with one long climb at the half way mark.
Mick Williams was the star on the day finishing in 21st overall position out of 1785 finishers. Marian Quigley had a storming run to finish in 668 position. The complete Kenilworth results area as follows:
