Thirteen Kenilworth Runners' headed to Pitville Park in Cheltenham to take part in the second round of the Gloucester Cross Country League. The course featured a series of undulations and featured a stream crossing on each lap. The ladies ran two laps; the men three. The men's team finished eleventh on the day with Richard Simkiss and Mike Johnson putting in excellent performances to finish eleventh and thirteenth respectively. In the ladies race, Pauline Dable finished in 32:25; Joan Mason came home less than a minute behind in 33:21.
