Race The Train - 10K Quarry Challenge

Four members of Kenilworth Runners headed to Tywyn to take part in the 10K Quarry Challenge, a morning support race to the full Race The Train Rotary Challenge. The ten kilometer course incorporates the return section of the full Rotary Challenge route, which meant runners encountered plenty of steep hills, boggy terrain and tough off-road tracks as they attempted to beat the train home.

Lisa Sears was our first lady home in a fine time of 1:07:25. She was followed by Kally Cheema, Liz Hegan and John Homes.
