Three members braved the torrential rain and an early start to head to Norwich for the 25th City of Norwich Half Marathon. The event was well organised, even the rain stopped as the competitors lined up at the start, presenting them with a full double rainbow that appeared over the finish gantry!

The race was held over two laps with one small valley to descend and climb - twice. The race began in the Norfolk Showground and wound through small surrounding villages, who provided plenty of support along the way. Finishers were presented with a quality medal and the cotton goody bag contained some tasty items!

Mike Crust was the first home in 1:48:57 (803rd); Mandy Crust's 1:53:14 (996th) made her seventh in category, and Joan Mason clocked 2:06:03 (1670th), making her a prize winner for second in category. There were 2233 finishers.
