Just one club member competed in this renowned 5 mile race held at Wolverton in Milton Keynes. First held in 1965 and held every year since, the race has attracted international standard athletes over the years with all time race records set at 23:01 and and 26:20 for men and women respectively.

Colin Bricher finished 234th of the 311 finishers, clocking 41:22.
