The popular Wedgnock Winter Mud and Mayhem Series returned for 2009/10 at a new venue - Foxcote Estate, Nr Illingham. Using some of the meanest hills the Cotswolds has to offer, the 10 kilometre course mixed short sections of road with stretches of muddy off road.

Describing it as 'the hardest race I have EVER run! Richard Simkiss finished in an excellent second position in a time of 40:54.
