3 members, Mandy and Mike Crust plus Rod Goodwin made the journey to Hertfordshire for this well established end of year 10 miler..

The race was run in what was considered to be cold weather but once started it was perfect running conditions around a really scenic course starting with a loop around a housing estate and then out of town taking in some really pretty scenery.

There was a gradual climb from around 3 to 5 miles then a down and up to 5.6 miles followed by a really good downhill section to 7 miles. The last 3 miles were on a slight upward incline with a tricky last section to a welcome finish.

Our trio joined 428 finishes in what was to be considered a great race, well organised with really enthusiastic marshals and a really nice training shoe memento.
