new race and course greeted the 14 members who took part, starting in Glasshouse Lane the course turned into Crew Lane down to join the road into Stoneleigh at the crossroads where the right turn took the runners through the delightful village of Stoneleigh, over the bridge with a steep climb up Stoneleigh Road, passing Stoneleigh Park the course turned into The Abbey grounds emerging onto the Leamington Road, the final sting in the tail of this course was the steep climb up Rocky Lane. Caroline Pack had a good run to beat her handicap by 35 sec's and so taking the 50 points, Sam Curry was the only other member to beat their handicap, Pauline Dable did enough to come 4th place to bring her points total to 96 to take the overall lead on what several said was a tough course.
