Three Kenilworth Runners took part in the fifth and final round of the Threshold Winter series. The 10k course began with a stiff two mile climb before a relatively easy finish as the route descended back into Illmington.

Pete Matthews was first Kenilworth Runners home clocking 40:58 to claim a fine tenth position. He was followed in twelfth by Richard Green (41:56) and then by Nicki Dove (58:50), who finished 84th.

The race was won by top local Coventry runner Toby Spencer in a phenomenal time of 34:04, some four  minutes clear of Godiva team mate Emerson Coombstock, with Ian Mansell rounding off the top three.
