Two club members took part in the 26th annual Cannock Chase Trig Points race. Hosted by Mercia Fell Runners, the race has competitors visit various predefined trig points over the chase in a set order. Route choice, however, is up to the individual, with an approx "best route" of around 16 miles.

Pete Matthews clocked 16.6mi in 2:05:13 to finish 18th overall (which included a slight detour through the middle of a downhill mountain bike contest).

He was followed by Neil Smith, who finished 123rd in 3:04:00.
