Full Results from Race 3 - Ashorne Attack Double

On a mild but blustery evening, numbers totalling 38 set out to complete the longest club race of the 2010 calendar - the two lap course in Ashorne covering a total of 7.5miles.

Stan Alexander put in a sterling performance to finish 3 minutes 25 seconds ahead of his predicted time, giving him 50 points for the evening and a box of chocs. Pete Bryan was able to set a new Male Vets course record through finishing ahead of his predicted time, and a fine run by Ros Matthews saw her knock a huge chunk off the Ladies record gaining a bonus 5points. Rich Simkiss was also able to better his own course record set in the 2008 winter league.

Liz Hegan currently leads the overall summer league on 185 points thanks to playing her Joker this race.

Martin Broomfield
 leads the A group with  156 points
Ros Matthews leads the B group with 136 points
Pete Matthews leads the C group with 173 points
