Who Are We?

We are a small group of runners (current membership of 142) who put as much into running as we do into enjoying a very good social side. We have a diverse membership including orienteers, fell, road, cross country & ultra runners. More information about these can be found on this menu.

We welcome visitors from Kenilworth and from elsewhere even if you are only staying in the area for a few days or so.

Where Are We?

Based in the town of Kenilworth in the heart of Warwickshire. We can offer the historic Castles of Kenilworth and Warwick, whilst just up the road we also have the world famous Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford.

Where do we meet?

At the Kenilworth Wardens Cricket Club in Glasshouse Lane on a Tuesday and Thursday Evening at 7:00 pm.

We also meet on a Sunday morning at 8 o'clock again from the Wardens - after the run enjoy a shower and a cracking breakfast.

How to Join

You may be a bit daunted about the thought of joining a running club if you have never been a member of one before. Don't be, we have members with a wide range of ability, age and commitment. Whatever your standard of fitness, you'll be more than welcome. You are bound to find someone in the club who is about the same standard as you.

The club is very friendly and social and as our head quarters are at the Wardens Cricket Club, most of us stay behind for a drink or two afterwards - especially on a Thursday night.

The best way to find out if you want to join us is to come along to either one of our evening runs or to one of our league races that are held on a Sunday morning in the winter or a Thursday evening in the summer. You don't have to join the club to come running with us. So why not come along and see if you like it? The Club Runs section of the website sets out the details, and there are maps of all our races showing you how to get there and what to expect when you do!

If you want more information you can e-mail the website manager or contact a member of the Committee.

If you have decided to join the club, you can, print it out and complete the application form then send it to Mike Cahill, Treasurer.
