We are a friendly club of over 100 runners, based at Kenilworth Wardens, Glasshouse Lane, Kenilworth. 

We are keen to welcome new members and whatever your pace, we’ll have a group suitable for you.  No matter what your running goals may be, we can help you with them, through advice, support & encouragement.

Press Release: Entries Filling Fast For 2010 Kenilworth Half Marathon

Entries are filling fast for the 2010 Kenilworth Half Marathon and runners planning to take part in the race on Sunday September 26 are urged to enter soon to avoid disappointment.

The tenth running of the popular race, voted by readers of Runner's World magazine as one of the 50 best races of 2009, is this year incorporating the Warwickshire County Half Marathon Championships and is also a round of the Warwickshire Road Race League.

Entries can be made on-line or by post, but postal entries must be received by September 3rd. Competitors who enter ahead of this deadline will receive a commemorative technical t-shirt on completion of the race.

Race the Train
Kenilworth Runners mens' team of Richard Simkiss, Phil Gould & Connor Carson took the prestigious club trophy at last weekend's Race the Train 2010 at Tywyn, Mid Wales. 
 
Connor and Pat Noonan also won age group prizes and with 18 runners in the main 14 mile race and 4 running the shorter 10k race, the club enjoyed a very successful weekend trip.

Half Marathon Training Groups
Sunday morning Training groups for the Kenilworth Half Marathon, on 26 September, are now being held from Kenilworth Wardens on Glasshouse Lane.  The sessions start early, at 8am so are finished nice & early before it gets too hot
 
Groups are organised depending on your expected finish time with each group lead by an experienced club member with a good knowledge of running routes around the local area.  The best thing is there's no charge !
 
Some of your rivals in the race have already signed up, so what are you waiting for?
 
These sessions are, of course, also open to Kenilworth Runners members

Solihull parkrun

For those of you that are after a change of scenery, a new parkrun event is launching in Solihull’s Brueton Park.

The first event takes places on 24th July. More details can be found:
